Erica Chung founded 3LAB because she believed most skincare had it backwards, chasing trends instead of results and packaging instead of performance. 3LAB was created to be the exception to that rule.

As a privately owned company, 3LAB works by her principle of results first, cost second. Without shareholders to answer to, the budget goes into the formula: the ingredients, the research and the time it takes to get it right.

Our chemists partner with leading ingredient suppliers worldwide and invest in proprietary research, so every formula is built around actives chosen for what they do for the skin.

In 2026, Erica celebrated her 70th birthday by launching Daily Ampoule, a nightly concentrate built on the same principle she started with.

Behind every collection, a search

Erica has never stopped searching. For every collection she looked for the rarest, purest ingredients and the newest science for efficacy, and she still does.

  1. Anti-Aging Collection

    Long before marine ingredients were common in skincare, Erica saw the deep sea as a source of rare, powerful botanicals. She built the Anti-Aging Collection around them.

  2. WW Cream

    Golden Collagenine gives it its color and its glow. A few years after launch, it was gifted to the stars during awards season, and the requests that followed earned it a nickname: the Hollywood Cream. Today it remains our richest cream, created for mature skin that wants deep comfort and a firmer, more lifted look.

  3. Super Collection

    A fortunate discovery led Erica to X-50, one of the rarest and most costly ingredients she has worked with, and the one that delivers the most for skin's needs. It became the heart of the Super Collection.

  4. "M" Collection

    We wanted stem cell science without animal sources. The answer was a rare Swiss apple, the Uttwiler Spätlauber, known for staying fresh long after harvest. Its stem cells became the "M" Collection, made for a visibly smoother, more rested look from the first use.

    Decades in skincare taught Erica that protecting skin is far easier than correcting it later. Daily Ampoule is that belief in a bottle, and she uses it every day.
